Day 1: Welcome to Egypt
Our Memphis Tours Egypt representative will meet you at Cairo International Airport and accompany you to your hotel and overnight.

Day 2: Cairo – Giza pyramids – Saqqara
At 8 :00 Am – Pick up By our Memphis Tours Egypt Guide and Ac car then Start Discover the last remaining ancient wonder of the world, the Pyramids of Giza, Cheops, Mykerinus, and Chephren. Learn the history of this miraculous edifice that still keeps the mystery of its construction. From the Plateau, enjoy the unique view of the Pyramids emerging from the golden sand of Giza. It’s the moment to take pictures of your life! Before leaving the site, let’s greet Abu El Hol, the 3000 years old great Sphinx.
Then drive to do Ancient adventure with a tour of the Egyptian museum. Here are displayed the most beautiful artefacts of Ancient Egypt, royal mummies, and the amazing treasure of King Tutankhamun. Your guide will lead you inside the museum and explain to you all the highlights.
Take your way through the streets of Khan El Khalili, the medieval market. where you will find Spices, gold, soap, handmade souvenirs, etc.. you can find almost anything there. Need to go back home with souvenirs, Khan El Khalili is the ideal place for that!
In the beginning, after gathering your belongings, you will be taken to the train station to catch the sleeping train to Luxor. While you are dreaming, the train is rolling to your next destination.

Day 3: Luxor – East bank
Pick up and Transferred Once you arrive in Luxor, you will be driven to your next accommodation: a Nile cruise ship. All cabins are double, with a private bathroom, television, and A/C. Have breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant onboard and enjoy the swimming pool on the deck!
After lunch, take a horse carriage to join the massive temple of Karnak. Enter the vastest Ancient temple of Egypt and admire the coloured engravings and hieroglyphs on the walls. For more than 2000 years, about thirty Pharaohs have contributed to the construction of the building, making it unique by its size, degree of elaboration, and diversity of styles.
Follow the sphinxes valley to Luxor temple. It’s late afternoon, the perfect time to enjoy the splendour of the Ancient architecture highlighted by the shimmering rays of the setting sun. Enter the site facing the immense pylon of Ramses II, his monumental colossi, and of course the huge obelisk. Here, the union of Mut and Amun and the rebirth of their son used to take place every year for the Opet Festival. The site also hosts a roman chapel and a mosque that make this place quite singular.

Day 4: : Luxor – West bank
At 8:00 Am with Memphis Tour Egypt Guide and Ac Car will Start an unforgettable excursion to the West Bank of Luxor. Discover first the valley of the Kings, a set of 63 tombs excavated in the rock of the mountain, the most famous one is of course King Tut’s tomb, whose mask was displayed at the Egyptian museum. Venture inside three royal tombs and examine the coloured scenes on the walls, these give you insights into the beliefs and funerary rites of Ancient Egyptians. These tombs are also a great reminder of the prestige and greatness of the pharaohs.
Continue your visit to the memorial temple of Hatshepsut. Arriving at the site, the impressive cliff will not miss captivating your eyes. But it’s at the foot of this masterpiece of nature that remains the real wonder. the building seems to have been sculpted into the rock. Once inside you will notice that many statues and engraving have their face destroyed, your expert guide will explain to you the strong history behind this.
Join your cruise ship for lunch and start sailing. Enjoy the peace granted by the river and contemplate the scenery that only Africa can offer.

Day 5: Edfu – Kom Ombo
After breakfast on your cruise ship, make a stop at Edfu to visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Horus, Osiris’ vengeful son. Sail to Kom Ombo and top over the “double-temple” of Sobek, This temple is perfectly symmetrical, one half is dedicated to the crocodile dod Sobek and the other to the falcon-headed god Horus. The area used to host many crocodiles, nowadays the only ones you can see are the mummified ones of the Crocodile Museum nearby.
Join your ship for lunch and continue sailing to Aswan.

Day 6: Aswan – Abu Simbel
Around 4 AM, you will be driven for 3 hours to Abu Simbel. The way is long but well worth witnessing the greatness of these ancient temples. Ramses II decided to build himself and his wife Nefertari these two massive temples in order to establish his supremacy upon the Nubians.
Visit these two masterpieces with your Egyptologist guide and discover the history of this place and of the great Pharaoh who built them. You will have plenty of time to take memorable photos.
The excursion at Abu Simbel is usually proposed as an expensive extra tour by the travel agencies. But AT Magic carpet company, we consider that this magnificent site is important and it has to be a part of your trip.

Day 7: : Aswan – City highlights
Start your day with Philae temple, the centre of the cult of Isis. It’s incredible to realize that this temple was entirely moved from Philae to Agilika Island after the construction of the High Dam. Reach by motorboat the huge dam that while allowing Egyptians to enjoy permanent agriculture has threatened a lot of houses and touristic sites, such as Abu Simbel temples. Let’s visit now the Symposium museum: an open-air museum with modern sculptures. Though overlooked by tourists, this museum displays pieces of modern art and thus allows you to catch a glimpse of today’s Egyptian society.
In the evening, take the sleeper train back to Cairo, enriched with lots of stories and many wonderful photos.

Day 8: Return to Cairo
Pick up Once back in Cairo Then transfer To Cairo Airport to catch your international flight back home, or you can enjoy more time in Egypt by picking any visit or activity from our tailor-made options.
