Highlight Egypt Package (Cairo –Luxor –aswan )

Day 1: Cairo airport-Pyramids-Saqqara-Museum-Khan el Khalili

Upon arrival in Egypt, Our Memphis Tour Egypt tour guide will pick you up from Cairo international airport by air-conditioned vehicle to start your day tour in Cairo.

Witness the glory of the old kingdom located in Giza Plateau. Start your private tour by discovering the last remaining ancient wonder of the world, the Pyramids of Giza, Cheops, Mykerinus, and Chephren. Guided by our expert Egyptologist, learn the history of this miraculous edifice that still keeps the mystery of their construction. From the Plateau, enjoy the unique view of the Pyramids emerging from the golden sand of Giza. It’s the moment to take pictures of your life! Before leaving the site, let’s greet Abu El Hol, the 3000 years old great Sphinx.

Reach now the second step of your journey, the Pyramid of Saqqara also know as the Pyramid of Djoser. Saqqara is the vast necropolis of ancient Memphis. It’s on this site that King Djoser built his tomb more than 4000 years ago. It was the first time in history that the pyramidal shape was used to build a tomb of a kind.

After lunch, finish your day by visiting the Museum of Cairo which contains the most beautiful artifacts of Ancient Egypt, royal mummies, and the amazing treasure of King Tutankhamun. Return to your hotel overnight.

Then, make your way through the streets of Khan El Khalili. Built-in the 14th century this souk is still the first choice for all locals who want to buy gold. Spices, gold, soap, handmade souvenirs.

Our guide will finally accompany you to your hotel to check-in and stay overnight.

Day 2: Flight to Luxor-Highlights East and West Bank

Early morning, you will be picked up and will be transferred to Cairo international airport to take your flight to Luxor.

Upon arrival, you will be met and accompanied by our tour guide with an air-conditioned vehicle to start your day tour and visit the highlights of Luxor located on both sides of the valley.

At 08.00 AM Your guide will pick you up from your hotel to Start your Tour, Cross the other side of Luxor through Luxor`s bridge enjoying the agricultural lands, The small villages, and scenic views of the mountains.

Start your tour and visit “Valley of the Kings,” where you will see the well-preserved tombs belonging to the kings of the new kingdom including the great ruler Ramses II and the child King
Tut Ankh Amon.

Move on to enjoy the Temple of” Queen Hatshepsut”, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty, the only pharaonic woman who ruled in ancient Egypt.

Then heading to visit the two Massive temples on the eastern bank of the Nile. The first one is the “Karnak Temple Complex” It’s mainly a place to worship the Theban triad (Gods Amon, his consort Mut, and their son Khunso).

The Second Temple is “Luxor Temple” you will visit it approx during the sunset, The special thing about this temple is that while other Temples close earlier in the day Luxor Temple stays open later so you can visit it at night when The architecture is lit up with lots of lights making the entire place illuminated & exceptional.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel to check-in and stay overnight.

Day 3: Travel to Aswan / Aswan Highlights

In the early morning, our guide will meet and accompany you to trvel to Aswan from Luxor (4 hours driving).

Upon arrival to Aswan, you will visit the highlights of Aswan city starting by the temple of Isis in Philae island.

After that, you will visit the high dam.

End your trip by visiting the unfinished obelisk.

Check in at your hotel in Aswan and stay overnight

Day 4: Abu Simbel / Flight back to Cairo

At 05:00 am, you will be met and accompanied by our tour guide, Travel to Abu Simbel to visit the two temples of King Ramses II and his wife Nefertari.

The two temples you are about to visit are located on the west bank of Lake Nasser. They were originally located in a lower area where they buried under the sand and also were doomed to be drowned under the Nile water.
In order to save these Ancient treasures, the decision was made to relocate them. Therefore, the temples were entirely relocated in 1968, dislocated, and reassembled in a higher area to save them from flooding.

These massive constructions are a part of the Ramesses II building program throughout Egypt and Nubia. Indeed Nubia was a valuable region for Egyptians because of its gold and other precious goods. Hence, Pharaoh Ramesses II decided to build these two massive temples in Nubia in order to establish his supremacy upon the Nubians.

Visit these two masterpieces with your Egyptologist guide and discover the history of this place and of the great Pharaoh who build them. You will have plenty of time to take memorable photos.

After finishing, you will be driven back to Aswan, have your lunch, then you will enjoy one hour with a felucca ride around the island of Aswan and breath the vape of the River Nile.

Here ends your trip, our tour guide will escort you to Aswan airport to take your flight back to Cairo.
